A lifelong fascination with the razzle dazzle of the golden age of Hollywood musicals, dance, Marilyn Monroe, Carry On humour, vintage fashion, sequins, feathers and fabulous fabrics culminated in the ambition and then reality of establishing a glamorous burlesque clothing label in 2006.  Based in Pontcanna, Cardiff; the owner & designer is Janine Jones, a fully qualified and trained fashion and costume designer, pattern cutter and maker, with around 15 years experience.  With a background in theatre, dance, film and television, Janine has an unrestricted stock of ideas and inspiration for sensational costumes and clothing.  Working closely with the Burlesque Cardiff Company, Janine understands the requirements and elements neccessary for practical yet elegant burlesque costumes.  Janine is also a qualified teacher and runs costume design and construction tutorials       upon request.
